Why wood fibers?
To increase the abrasion resistance of the wool, Grüezi bag® blends it with the finest wood fibers (lyocell). This not only gives the liner a soft, skin- friendly feel , but also increases its durability and lifespan .
The wood fibers (Lyocell fiber) come from FSC-certified forests and are obtained in an environmentally conscious manufacturing process (the necessary manufacturing materials are 99.8% biodegradable).
Why wool?
Wool not only effectively regulates moisture but also body temperature . Thanks to its unique climate-balancing properties, wool naturally creates a comfortably pleasant microclimate. This is because wool prevents cooling through evaporation (it dries at a balanced, even pace) and retains its warming properties even when damp, a feat unmatched by any other material.
