This is achieved through an innovative blend of 50% mulesing-free merino wool and 50% wood fibers. This combination is climate-regulating and also biodegradable.

• High abrasion resistance and a softer feel: Grüezi bag® combines wool with the finest wood fibers (lyocell) in a 50:50 ratio to increase abrasion resistance. The result: a skin-friendly soft feel, paired with high durability and longevity.
  
• Climate-regulating: Wool naturally regulates moisture and body temperature. It creates a pleasantly comfortable microclimate and prevents cooling through evaporation. Even when damp, it retains its warming properties.

CARE

Wash

• Wash at 30°C/86°F in the wool cycle in the washing machine with wool detergent (without protease), do not tumble dry.
• Wool shirts can be washed in the washing machine, but please do not wash them with other zippered garments. We recommend using a laundry bag.

storage

• Natural materials can be infested by clothes moths. As a preventative measure, we recommend installing fly screens on windows and doors, and storing wool clothing and blankets that have not been used for extended periods in tightly sealed garment bags after cleaning them. Odors that are unpleasant to moths also deter them (e.g., scented sachets).

Tip

• Please note: Wet wool is delicate. Therefore, avoid direct contact with your backpack when wearing a dripping wet shirt and put on a jacket, otherwise holes may develop.
• Airing a shirt is better than washing it. They only need to be washed rarely, as wool itself has natural odor-inhibiting and dirt-repellent properties.
• WoodWool shirts pill less than pure merino shirts. As a natural product, the fibers tend to pill primarily in high-wear areas where straps or waistbands rub against the fabric.
