Pimp your sleeping bag

If your sleeping bag isn't warm enough on a trip, the "Feater Light" comes in handy. This liner can increase the temperature by up to 10°C. Best of all, it's also heated. This way, you can bring any sleeping bag up to the perfect temperature.

• Outer fabric: It is made of lightweight and breathable nylon.
• High-quality ARL insulation from Grüezi bag®: It is lightweight, resistant to moisture, and provides pleasant warmth. Its high loft traps heat-insulating air, and the three-dimensional structure of the filling also allows moisture to escape.
  
• Integrated carbon heating element : an additional heat source as a backup in case of emergency, such as illness or a sudden drop in temperature.
  • The heating element can be operated with a standard power bank (USB port is located in the outer pocket) and is washable at 30 °C.
  • Heating duration: The heating element heats up to a maximum of 40°C to achieve an optimal comfort climate. Approximately 15 minutes are sufficient; after that, the sleeping bag retains the heat and stays warm inside the Feater for the entire night.
  • Info: The operating time of a power bank with 5,000 mAh is approximately 1.8 hours / with 10,000 mAh approximately 3.6 hours.
• Inner and outer pockets: Ideal for valuables and items you prefer to keep close at hand. The USB port is located in the outer pocket.
• Drawstring with stopper : To adjust the sleeping bag under the shoulders and prevent heat from escaping at the top.
• Toggle buttons : For securing in the loops inside the sleeping bag
• AlmWolle and DownWool®: The climate-balancing function of the Grüezi bag ® fillings is not affected by the “Feater”.

WHAT IS SYNTHDOWN?

The high-quality, ultra-fine, and therefore lightweight, three-dimensionally welded microfiber filling of the Grüezi bag® provides excellent loft, which is crucial for trapping air and thus ensuring comfortable warmth. The three-dimensional structure of the filling also promotes moisture wicking, creating a pleasant microclimate. This filling is characterized by its robustness, durability, and moisture resistance.

WHAT IS A CARBON HEATING ELEMENT?

A sleeping bag simply retains the heat emitted by the person. However, often a person is no longer able to warm themselves or the sleeping bag sufficiently, whether due to exhaustion or illness. The foot area, in particular, is difficult to warm with cold feet. For this reason, this hip pack has an integrated heating element (Grüezi bag® carbon heating element) that can be powered by a standard power bank.

• The hip bag will become cuddly warm within about 15 minutes.
• The carbon heating element is designed to limit the heating power to approximately 40 °C (104 °F) to prevent sweating and the resulting moisture that could lead to further chilling.
• The heating element is integrated into the foot section, so that the heat is distributed evenly from bottom to top and there is sufficient distance to the body to ensure a restful sleep.
• The heating element is washable and can be washed along with the Feater.

CARE

Wash

• The washing instructions are located in the inside pocket of the Feater.
• Your item can be washed with a liquid detergent for delicates at a maximum temperature of 30°C/86°F, either by hand or in the washing machine on a gentle cycle. Do not use fabric softener and spin only briefly at the end (max. 600 rpm)!
• We recommend performing an additional rinse cycle after washing to remove all detergent residue.

Dry

• The Feater can be placed on a clothes drying rack on sunny days so that air can circulate around it from above and below. Please allow the Feater to dry completely.

Tip

• When the "Feater" is first unpacked, it needs some time to become fluffy.
• Sleeping bags must be stored open and dry in their storage bag. An old pillowcase can also be used as a storage bag.
• Airing out a sleeping bag is better than washing it. For small external stains, we recommend gently cleaning only the stain itself (like this); heavily soiled or greasy sleeping bags can be washed in the washing machine.
