BIOPOD WOLLE ZERO
High-quality sleeping bag that is insensitive to moisture from the end of spring to the beginning of autumn.
The Biopod Wolle Zero is the optimal all-round sleeping bag for trekking, camping and biking, even when it gets wetter.
Its comfortably cut mummy shape makes it light and small in pack size. The pillow compartment is also very practical - simply insert a fleece jacket, for example, and you have a pillow that won't slip during sleep.
The mummy sleeping bag has an innovative zip that allows you to comfortably place your feet on the top of the sleeping bag when it gets too warm.
A deep and recuperative sleep is especially important after an active day. That's why our mummy sleeping bags are cut more comfortably, while we also pay attention to light weight and small packing volume.
The special thing about our AlmWolle sleeping bags is their insulation: the body needs a lot of energy to regulate its temperature. Sheep's wool balances the climate and thus takes over part of the temperature regulation. The body can use the remaining energy for rest.
THE EFFECT OF THE UNIQUE ALMWOLLE INSULATION
The lavalan® AlmWolle used in Grüezi bag products creates an excellent microclimate: the body releases moisture at all times. However, if there is too much humidity in the sleeping bag, the body starts to freeze. Wool absorbs moisture and passes it on to the outside in doses - so that no evaporative cooling occurs. This regulation allows for a warming or cooling effect to enable a dry, comfortable climate. Wool also warms even when damp.
Grüezi bag uses wool from sheep from the Alpine region for its insulation. Robust, natural, biodegradable and renewable.

WHAT IS ALM WOOL?
What makes this sleeping bag special is its innovative lavalan® Alpine wool insulation. The insulation consists of a lightweight wool fleece from sheep in the Alpine region: robust, natural, biodegradable and renewable.
Wool acts like a light and natural air conditioner. In a wool sleeping bag, you immediately notice the wide temperature comfort range, where you'll never be too cold or too hot. Furthermore, the insulation is naturally resistant to high humidity, resulting in a naturally dry and balanced sleeping climate inside a wool sleeping bag.
- Effective temperature and moisture regulation: Wool balances temperature fluctuations like a gentle, natural air conditioner. Wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture and releases it gradually to the outside. This natural regulation creates a warming or cooling effect without the cooling effect of evaporative cooling.
- It insulates even in very high humidity: Wool wicks away sweat and retains its warming properties even when damp, something no other material can do. This means it provides excellent insulation even in very high humidity, offering high thermal performance in cold, wet weather.
- Dries very quickly: Wool insulation dries very quickly and can therefore be used directly on rivers, on boats, in the tropics even at over 100% humidity.
- Neutralizes unpleasant odors: Wool has antibacterial properties and thus naturally neutralizes unpleasant odors.

CARE
- The washing instructions are located in the inner pocket of the sleeping bag.
- The sleeping bag can be washed by hand or in the washing machine on a wool cycle using a wool detergent (without protease) at a maximum temperature of 30°C/86°F. Please turn inside out, close the zipper, perform an additional rinse cycle, and do not use fabric softener.
Dry
On sunny days, the sleeping bag can be laid on a clothes drying rack so that air can circulate around it from above and below. Please allow the sleeping bag to dry completely.
Tip
- When a sleeping bag is first unpacked, it needs some time to become fluffy. Ironing it lightly with a steam iron on the silk setting before first use will help the wool fluff up more quickly and improve its breathability.
- All sleeping bags should be dried from time to time or after each trip to remove excess moisture.
- Sleeping bags must be stored open and dry in their storage bag. An old pillowcase can also be used as a storage bag.
- When packing the sleeping bag into the compression sack, it must be stuffed with the foot end first, not rolled or folded.
- Airing out a sleeping bag is better than washing it. Wool sleeping bags rarely need washing, as wool has natural odor-resistant and dirt-repellent properties. For minor external soiling, we recommend gently cleaning only the stain itself (like this). Heavily soiled or greasy sleeping bags can be washed in the washing machine.
- A sleeping mat should be used under every sleeping bag, as the insulation is compressed downwards inside the sleeping bag and therefore cannot trap air and thus heat. You can find more information about choosing the right sleeping mat here .
