Thanks to its AlmWolle insulation, the "Wolle Tropical" sleeping bag is the ideal summer sleeping bag, whether in a tent, mountain hut, campervan, on the Camino de Santiago, or while traveling in a hotel or Airbnb. It is perfectly suited for regions with high humidity, such as holidays by the sea, lakes, rivers, or on boats, as well as in tropical areas. The optional 3D mosquito net offers a panoramic view and reliable protection from insects. This makes it suitable for overnight stays in a van with the windows open or for overnight trips at scenic viewpoints.

- Pillow pocket: If you slide a fleece jacket, for example, into the pillow pocket, the sleeping bag has a non-slip pillow.
- Adjustable hood with face baffle: The thermal baffle adapts perfectly to the shape of the head. When it's cold, only a small opening remains for the face, thus reducing heat loss.

- Two-way auto-lock zipper: The zipper can be opened and closed from either end, from the inside and outside. Thanks to the auto-lock function, it cannot open unintentionally.

WHAT IS ALM WOOL?
What makes this sleeping bag special is its innovative lavalan® Alpine wool insulation. The insulation consists of a lightweight wool fleece from sheep in the Alpine region: robust, natural, biodegradable and renewable.
Wool acts like a light and natural air conditioner. In a wool sleeping bag, you immediately notice the wide temperature comfort range, where you'll never be too cold or too hot. Furthermore, the insulation is naturally resistant to high humidity, resulting in a naturally dry and balanced sleeping climate inside a wool sleeping bag.
- Effective temperature and moisture regulation: Wool balances temperature fluctuations like a gentle, natural air conditioner. Wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in moisture and releases it gradually to the outside. This natural regulation creates a warming or cooling effect without the cooling effect of evaporative cooling.
- It insulates even in very high humidity: Wool wicks away sweat and retains its warming properties even when damp, something no other material can do. This means it provides excellent insulation even in very high humidity, offering high thermal performance in cold, wet weather.
- Dries very quickly: Wool insulation dries very quickly and can therefore be used directly on rivers, on boats, in the tropics even at over 100% humidity.
- Neutralizes unpleasant odors: Wool has antibacterial properties and thus naturally neutralizes unpleasant odors.

CARE
- The washing instructions are located in the inner pocket of the sleeping bag.
- The sleeping bag can be washed by hand or in the washing machine on a wool cycle using a wool detergent (without protease) at a maximum temperature of 30°C/86°F. Please turn inside out, close the zipper, perform an additional rinse cycle, and do not use fabric softener.
Dry
On sunny days, the sleeping bag can be laid on a clothes drying rack so that air can circulate around it from above and below. Please allow the sleeping bag to dry completely.
Tip
- When a sleeping bag is first unpacked, it needs some time to become fluffy. Ironing it lightly with a steam iron on the silk setting before first use will help the wool fluff up more quickly and improve its breathability.
- All sleeping bags should be dried from time to time or after each trip to remove excess moisture.
- Sleeping bags must be stored open and dry in their storage bag. An old pillowcase can also be used as a storage bag.
- When packing the sleeping bag into the compression sack, it must be stuffed with the foot end first, not rolled or folded.
- Airing out a sleeping bag is better than washing it. Wool sleeping bags rarely need washing, as wool has natural odor-resistant and dirt-repellent properties. For minor external soiling, we recommend gently cleaning only the stain itself (like this). Heavily soiled or greasy sleeping bags can be washed in the washing machine.
- A sleeping mat should be used under every sleeping bag, as the insulation is compressed downwards inside the sleeping bag and therefore cannot trap air and thus heat. You can find more information about choosing the right sleeping mat here .
